1-. AIRLINE DIRECTION
Atlántica Air Virtual does not represent any real airline.
It was founded with the objective of providing a new and improved flight experience for users registered on flight networks like IVAO.
This service and all the tools provided on it are completely free and not for profit.
All registered users who make use of Atlántica Virtual's tools and services must respect the VA's regulations and the current regulations on flight networks. (IVAO)
2-. GENERAL TERMS
Registered and active members of Atlántica Virtual commit to maintaining polite behavior on the airline's services, forums, website, Discord, IVAO…
Any inappropriate act that could compromise the integrity of other people or the VA's systems and tools or IVAO services will result in disciplinary measures, including an indefinite suspension of the user.
It is emphasized that any attempt at sabotage, hacking, or related to the airline's computer security or IVAO services will be treated seriously, leading to new internal offenses, including the suspension of the user and legal measures if applicable.
3-. GDPR
Data Collected
We collect the following personal data:
First and last name.
Date of birth.
IVAO VID, or any other identification code from other virtual flight networks.
Personal email.
Country of residence.
Only the first name (without last name) and the IVAO VID will be publicly exposed.
Use of Data
We use personal data to carry out the activities of the virtual airline, keep track of each user's virtual flights, and for organizational purposes. The data is accessible only by the virtual airline staff in the exercise of their assigned duties.
Data Security
The data is only accessible by airline staff who have signed a confidentiality agreement regarding users' personal data. Depending on the nature of each data, some remain encrypted in our databases.
User Rights
All users, regardless of any personal condition or circumstance, have the rights of access, rectification, opposition, deletion ("right to be forgotten"), limitation of processing, portability, and not to be subject to individualized decisions. They can exercise these rights by contacting the virtual airline via the email info@atlanticavirtual.com.
Data Retention
Users' data will be completely deleted once the relationship ends, they withdraw from the virtual airline, or until the user requests it by exercising their rights over their data.
Policy Updates
Periodically, changes may arise in the virtual airline's privacy policies, which will be notified to users via the email provided at registration and publicly announced on the virtual airline's Discord server.

4-. ACCESS TO THE AIRLINE
*The minimum age to request registration in Atlántica Virtual is 14 years old.
(In case of being under the allowed age, a document signed by the applicant's legal guardian must be provided, this signature must be valid in the Spanish State.) [e.g., AutoFirma, digital signature]
*The applicant must be registered in the IVAO network, no minimum flight hours are required.
*The applicant must pass an interview that will be conducted on the airline's official Discord server with one or more STAFF members.
ADMISSION: The management of Atlántica Virtual reserves the right to admit all registrations through its system on the web atlanticavirtual.com, without being obligated to provide explanations about the decisions made concerning the applicant. It also reserves the right to cancel any registration request without explanation for users considered potentially dangerous for active users and/or the normal operation of the VA. In case of canceling the request without prior notice, an email will be sent to the sender with the closure of the same.
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the personal data collected from members who apply are as follows:
* First and last name.
* Date of birth.
* IVAO VID, or any other identification code from another virtual flight network.
* Personal email.
* Country of residence.
* Date of birth

The airline access can be in two ways:
*Access to the academy mentioned in the following point of the regulations.
*Taking a knowledge test on aeronautics, which if accepted, the user can access the airline's functions and have the possibility to join academy classes.
5-. VFR AND IFR ACADEMY
Atlántica Air Virtual has a completely free VFR and IFR academy.
Demand from users will periodically create student groups for each content.
Atlántica Academy offers training from basic VFR maneuvers to type rating simulations of commercial aircraft with real material and documentation based on reality.
6-. REGISTERED MEMBERS
All those who meet the admission requirements and accept the current regulations and new versions and show interest in the company's operations and are accepted are considered members of Atlántica Virtual.
Each active member of the company must perform a minimum of 2 flight hours per month under the ALT callsign and be reported to the active tracker.
* An inactive user is understood to be any user who does not report the minimum monthly hours and does not provide any reason for absence. Absences will have a total of 3 months, except in exceptional cases reviewed by the airline's STAFF.
Inactive users will be notified to their personal email of the account suspension, having a total of 15 calendar days to request reactivation of their account.
All active and registered users in the airline must remain active on the official Discord and attentive to their email; this is due to possible important notifications and notices about the company's direction.
7-. USER ABSENCES/ ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION
Any member can request the deactivation of their account in the company by sending an internal affairs email or directly contacting the CEO in charge of the airline at the time of the request.
8-. OPERATIONAL SYSTEM
The aircraft available for use by airline pilots can be consulted on the company's official website.
Each registered and accepted flight will count towards the virtual score of each user and flights can be done in three different ways:
*Visual flight: Only with the aircraft provided by the airline can visual flights be carried out, which can be simulated in different ways.
- Crew training: Which will consist of a flight for educational purposes and will not carry passengers or external goods to the company.
- VFR commercial flight: This flight will follow the visual flight plan rules but with the difference that in this mode, passengers or goods can be carried.
*Instrumental regulated flight: These will be IFR mode flights that will follow predetermined routes offered by the company; however, the pilot is always the final responsible for the route to be taken
*Non-regulated instrumental flight/Charter: These will be IFR mode flights that will not follow predetermined routes, in which the pilot is free to choose departure and destination. This mode will be scored but with fewer points than the previous one.
The current operational bases are Fuerteventura {GCFV}, Gran Canaria {GCLP}, Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas {LEMD}, and Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat {LEBL}.
The Operations Department may make changes to the company's operational guide and these will be notified to active users within 12 hours of the official update.
9-. OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
The airline has a tour system, which will be updated every certain period.
We offer a system of decorations and medals for each of the pilots, which can be awarded upon completing tours, special regime events, among others.
OFFLINE flights will not be accepted.
Shared cabin flights are permitted and recommended by Atlántica as it increases the sense of realism, and 30 extra points are awarded to each PIREP submitted in a shared cabin. The SOPs of Atlántica must be followed for the fleet in which it is flown
